12-week class meets weekly on Wednesday EVENINGS (6:30 - 9:30 PM) from January 10 - March 27, 2024.
This course introduces students to both practical and expressive forms in clay through wheel throwing and hand building techniques. Students learn to make forms for multiple vessels (cups, mugs, bowls) through wheel, slab and coil processes, surface decoration, glazing methods and more. Students may repeat this course to develop a strong foundation in ceramics.
Includes instruction, up to 50 lbs of clay, glaze, and firing.
Class includes open studio Thursdays and Saturdays from 10 AM - 1 PM.
