This course is designed for both beginners and continuing students interested in wheel-thrown pottery. Build a strong foundation in basic techniques, then apply those skills to a variety of creative projects. Learn methods for altering wheel thrown objects, increasing in complexity as the course progresses. Experiment with surface decoration techniques. All students are encouraged to complete projects to the best of their ability. The course will include at least two specialty firings.
