DRAFT Wednesday MORNING Advanced Handbuilding - Fall 2026
This 4-hour class is designed for students with prior experience working with clay who are interested in expanding their handbuilding skills and exploring altered forms. Throughout the course, we will focus on advanced handbuilding techniques as well as methods for altering wheel-thrown vessels to create unique and expressive forms.
During this session we will explore glazing and surface design techniques that enhance finished pieces and encourage the development of your personal creative style. Meeting for four hours each week, the class will follow a structured syllabus while providing opportunities to pursue individual interests and artistic goals. Through demonstrations, guided projects, and independent exploration, students will deepen their technical skills and broaden their creative approaches to working with clay.
