Independent Study

Tuesday evenings, 6:30 - 9:30 pm
​     No Instructor; Guild member will be present for questions
Dates: January 16 - April 4

Independent study is open to experienced potters who have taken at least three classes at VPG or have approval from the Education Director. This is an opportunity for students to explore clay on their own. Guild members will be available to answer questions.

Includes up to 75 lbs. of clay, glaze, and firing

Basic & Continuing Ceramics

Wednesday mornings, 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

​Dates: January 17 - April 5
​

Students will explore wheel throwing and hand building techniques for both functional and decorative work, including surface treatments such as texture, slips and glaze. The instructor will also work with students individually to help them develop their ideas in clay.

Includes up to 50 lbs. of clay, glaze, and firing

Wednesday evening class fills very quickly! Wednesday morning class may have more openings.

Open Studio

VPG studio is open to all current students Thursdays and Saturdays, 10:00 am - 1:00 pm during the same weeks that classes are held. 

Registration is now closed

• ​​Students will be accepted in the order in which registration is received.
• VPG reserves the right to cancel classes if minimum class sized are not met or due to unforeseen circumstances.
• Payment must be made to Village Potters Guild to secure a spot in the class.
