Virtual Tour
The Guild houses Brent and Shimpo wheels for throwing, electric kilns for bisque and oxidation firing up to Cone 10, a gas kiln devoted to reduction firing, and an outdoor raku kiln (not pictured). There is a separate area for hand building, with a slab roller, extruders, tables for seated or standing work, and a good selection of hump molds and texturing tools. Students are assigned shelf space to store their clay and tools; additional shelf space is available for storing works in progress and drying ware. Students can consult our small library of magazines and books about pottery. Also pictured: our glazing room and spray booth.
